Coggeshall Community

Our Coggeshall... Our future... Let’s make a Neighbourhood plan!

Drawing up a Neighbourhood Plan gives us a unique opportunity to plan our own future. It is our chance to make the rules that we want to make, that will give us the homes that we need in a prosperous and thriving community.

The Neighbourhood Plan works alongside the district plan, creating rules that tell developers where to build and how to build the houses, business units and local amenities that the neighbourhood needs. Good rules will make lives better without making things worse for our children in the future.

To make good rules for Coggeshall we need your help. We need to know what kind of Coggeshall you want to hand on to future generations, what is important to you, what you think we need, what you want to preserve and what you want to improve.

You can help us by filling in this questionnaire. It should only take you about 15 minutes to complete. Almost all the questions can be answered by simply putting ticks in one of the boxes on each line to say “yes” or “no”.

Please answer as an individual. If there are others in your home over the age of 14 who would like to complete a questionnaire, please forward them the link

Alternatively you can get paper copies of the questionnaire at the following pick-up points:

  • In the village centre – from the library, the Parish Council offices, St Peter’s School and Maison Mollie.
  • In The Hamlet – from Michael Bowes (one of our volunteers) 57 Kelvedon Road.

If you need help to fill in this questionnaire, if you have any questions or if you need to arrange for someone to collect your completed questionnaire please call the Clerk to Coggeshall Parish Council on 01376 562346. She will arrange for one of our volunteers to contact you.

Please complete the questionnaire by 15 May 2017.
